La Bonneterie Chanteclair, founded in 1973, is a French knitwear manufacturer for creators, distributors, brands and licensers. Our company quickly won over numerous fashion specialists, interested by our professionalism and know-how of this family structure. Located in a traditional textile manufacturing area, we also manage on site with local partners: knitting, dyeing and decoration. We have been awarded the GOTS quality label. We collect and sell old textiles and old shoes, mainly from charity containers. Monthly volumes weigh in at approx. 350 tonnes. Whether it's oil or energy, there is no denying our resources are becoming increasingly scarce. The fibres in textiles need both of these resources. And yet, despite old paper having been collected and recycled for decades, the same cannot be said of old clothing. With every item of clothing that ends up in the bin, valuable raw materials go to waste. The company Knebel Textilrecycling has made it its mission to collect, sort and recycle old textiles – for the sake of the environment and future generations.
