IMH is specialised in the manufacture, delivery and assembly of piping for applications such as biogas plants, waste water plants, painting plants, gas and air piping, paint sludge processing plants and leaching for the automotive industry and general industry. We also manufacture plants and their components at our site in Burgtonna, central Germany, and assemble them on site. Whether working in Germany or abroad, every job presents us with new tasks and challenges which require us to prove our capabilities time and time again. IMH currently employs 16 fitters, some of whom are deployed around the world, and a secretary based in Burgtonna. Our company is made up of qualified pipe fitters, TÜV-tested TIG welders and metalworkers. We process the following materials at our assembly halls and at construction sites: Stainless steel, normal steel, galvanised steel, plastics (such as PVC, PP, PE-HD, PVDF) and copper.

The product range comprises wing nuts, wing screws, cap nuts, timber connectors, beam clamps, channel nuts, sliding blocks, hammer-head bolts and various specialist parts made to drawings or samples. It is supplemented and expanded continuously. Our company is characterised by a high added-value chain, from metal casting "Made in Germany" to mechanical processing, customer-specific surface treatment and individual packaging. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
