The Westfälische Textil-Gesellschaft Klingenthal & Co. mbH (wtg), with its head office in Salzkotten, is a production and distribution company in the textiles sector. Founded by Franz Klingenthal in 1914, the company can look back proudly on more than 100 years of tradition. Until the end of the 1990s, the wtg was still weaving and printing in-house, but this activity was abandoned due to a strategic realignment. The wtg procures its materials from the international grey fabrics market before having the different-quality goods refined and finished by German and European partner companies. All the sectors and levels of the processing industry and commerce are serviced. A comprehensive service is provided in connection with the creation of collections.

KNEBEL TEXTILRECYCLING GMBH

We collect and sell old textiles and old shoes, mainly from charity containers. Monthly volumes weigh in at approx. 350 tonnes. Whether it's oil or energy, there is no denying our resources are becoming increasingly scarce. The fibres in textiles need both of these resources. And yet, despite old paper having been collected and recycled for decades, the same cannot be said of old clothing. With every item of clothing that ends up in the bin, valuable raw materials go to waste. The company Knebel Textilrecycling has made it its mission to collect, sort and recycle old textiles – for the sake of the environment and future generations.
