We now employ 55 people in Gornau, a municipality close to Chemnitz in eastern Germany, in the areas of semi-finished product processing, container and apparatus construction, plant construction and clean room technology. Our solutions are used in sectors such as mechanical engineering and plant construction, medical and environmental technology, the semiconductor industry and photovoltaics. Our company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008, which demonstrates the high quality of our products and services.

EKT Thalheim & Das Kofferwerk GmbH was established in 1998 from the former Thalheim case factory in Germany's Ore Mountains. Out of the existing operations for the production of travel cases and bags, the products have been adapted to meet the current demand of the market and the required parameters for our certification as per DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008. Having renewed our entire fleet of machinery, trained up specialist personnel and established our own CAD department, we can produce all kinds of covers, technical containers, packages and special items according to customer wishes and price requirements. We develop, manufacture and sell custom sewed products as well as technical cases and bags. In doing so, we combine the traditional craftsmanship of a small-scale enterprise with the latest methods in manufacturing. The requirements of our valued customers remain at the forefront of our entrepreneurial activities.

KAUP GmbH & Co. KG (KAUP) is the world's largest independent manufacturer of attachments for forklift trucks. Stationary systems and container spreaders for forklifts and cranes expand KAUP's product range. The offering also includes attachments for driverless transport systems and electronic attachments.
